Cedar Pond covers an area of 44 acres and has a maximum depth of 20 feet. Several streams feed the pond and it drains into the North River, a tributary of the Ipswich River. The pond has a public beach and a boat ramp on its northern shore, as well as a playground and a pavilion on its southern shore.
Cedar Pond is a lake located 3 miles west of Peabody.
