Trout Brook Recreation Area is 660 acres of Holden conservation land with a system of trails for walking, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking. Entrances on Manning Street, Mason Road, and Sterling Road have parking. A gathering area around the pond includes a picnic pavilion with tables, an open field, and a lodge which may be rented for public or private use.
