It is most helpful when submitting eBird observations at Bays Branch Wildlife Management Area to start a new checklist for each hotspot within the wildlife area. Use this general hotspot when you have a checklist that includes multiple locations or there was not a hotspot or personal location appropriate for your sightings.
Important Bird Area.
This 990 acre state wildlife area offers excellent waterfowl and upland bird hunting and viewing.
About 3 miles northeast of Panora. From Panora. Take Highway 4 north to 200th St. Turn east and go about 2 miles to the lake.
Marsh, lake, upland and timber areas. This is a public hunting area.
