Barry State Game Area

About this Location

The Barry State Game Area is located in Barry County, which is in the Wildlife Division’s Southwest Region. The area totals approximately 16,614 acres. Immediately to the west of the game area lies the Yankee Spring Recreation Area, covering approximately 4,700 acres. The land surrounding the Barry State Game Area and the adjacent recreation area is largely agricultural, mixed with some privately owned forest land.

The state game area is one of the properties in the Barry State Game Area, Yankee Springs Recreation Area, and Perry Trust Important Bird Area.
