About this Location

Located at the confluence of the Chippewa and Pine Rivers, the Chippewa Nature Center consists of 1,032 acres of woodlands, wetlands, and upland fields with 14 miles of trails. The visitor center maintains a feeding station outside a glassed-in wildlife viewing area. There is also a river overlook room extending out over the Pine River. Over 220 species of birds have been recorded from these various habitats, and approximately 90 species have nested on the property.
