Copan Lake is a multi-purpose flood control lake featuring approximately 5,000 surface acres of water. Copan Point is the lake's day use area. This park offers a designated beach area, beautiful picnic sites overlooking the water, and a nicely constructed boat launching ramp. Enjoy fishing opportunities for largemouth bass, white crappie, channel and flathead catfish. Two campgrounds are available for tents and RVs. There is a fee for use of the boat launch and swimming fees may apply. Some areas are open seasonally. Copan Lake is operated by the U.S. Corps of Engineers.
