Official WebsiteThe Woods and Swale trail is a short, 2-mile, out-and-back trail that goes through unique forests and varying terrain. Starting in open hardwoods with some ancient and massive oak and ash trees, the trail descends to a section of thick undergrowth with an open, tall canopy that hosts an abundance of birds and other wildlife. The trail can be used on its own as an out-and-back or as a connector to nearby trails, like Viall's Crossing or Hemlock Hill, both just a brief walk away on Sherman Road.
To the north trailhead - go 0.75 miles north on Sherman Road The south trailhead is at the fork of Lakeshore Road and Sherman Road.
