Bridgeport Reservoir is a 70-acre impoundment located on the border of Westmorland and Fayette counties on Jacobs Creek southeast of Mount Pleasant. The impoundment is operated by the Westmoreland County Parks Department as a recreational fishing destination. Boats are restricted to electric motors only and night boating is not permitted. Bridgeport Reservoir is a shallow water body with most of the lake easily accessed from the bank.
