Two hot spots in here provide public access: The Boathouse at Sunday Park and Genito Road Pull-out. The Greater Richmond Sailing Association is privately owned and gated. The Genito Road Pull-out is the only spot on public property. Use care at the minimum and if possible, give patronage to The Boathouse at Sunday Park. 

When submitting eBird observations at the Reservoir, it is most helpful to start a new checklist for each hotspot in the area. Use the general hotspot when you have a checklist that includes multiple locations or if no other hotspot or personal location is appropriate for your sightings.

Swift Creek Reservoir is a 1,700 acres man-made lake in Chesterfield County, Virginia. It is by far the largest body of water (except for the James River) within a 20-mile radius of downtown Richmond.
