Pushaw Lake

Pushaw Lake

About this Location

Pushaw Lake is located north of Bangor and west of Orono. The lake is part of four towns: Orono, Old Town, Hudson, and Glenburn. It has many roads and houses along its shores, except for the southeast part where there is a large wetland called Caribou Bog. The lake was formed by glacial melting thousands of years ago and has a small dam at its outlet to keep the water level stable. The lake is popular for bird watching, fishing, boating, swimming, and ice skating.
