The Observation Deck is just outside Walbridge Park at the roundabout on River Road where it intersects with Harvard Boulevard and Glendale Avenue. You get an unobstructed view of the Maumee River and Red-winged Blackbirds in the bushes, Gulls overhead, Mallards on the water, Great Blue Herons and other herons wading in the shallows near the island.

Walbridge Park is a gem in the City of Toledo park system. The most used park in the city, it has beautiful views of the scenic Maumee River. With walking and bike paths, playgrounds, public art, ample parking, and multiple areas to congregate, the Park has multiple areas available for rental. The park is conveniently located on Broadway Street across from the Toledo Zoo in the historic Harvard Terrance neighborhood.
