Tips for Birding

The town of Conconully can be an interesting birding spot, especially in winter when American Goshawk, both crossbill species, Pine Grosbeak, and Townsend's Solitaire are possible. Wild Turkey are connon in town.  The State Park has restrooms. On the way to or from Conconully check the Scotch Creek area for Sharp-tailed Grouse and raptors.

About this Location

Conconully, WA is a small tourist and vacation town near Conconully Lake and State Park.  It is a good stop for winter specialties.
