When submitting eBird observations at Kezar Lake, it is most helpful to start a new checklist for each hotspot on the lake. Use the general hotspot when you have a checklist that includes multiple locations or if no other hotspot or personal location is appropriate for your sightings.

Kezar Lake is located in southwestern Maine, situated in the foothills of the White Mountains, and covers an area of approximately 2,500 acres. The lake is about 5 miles long an d up to 1 mile wide, with a maximum depth of around 155 feet.

The lake is surrounded by rolling hills and dense forests. There are several small towns and villages near Kezar Lake, including Lovell, which is located on the northeastern shore of the lake. The area is also home to a number of historic buildings and landmarks, including the Brick Church for the Performing Arts, the Kezar Falls Grist Mill, and the Kezar Lake Boathouse.
