Birds of Interest

Scan the river for herons, kingfishers, wood ducks, and mergansers, especially around the footbridge connecting to Raccoon Valley Park.

About this Location

The bike trail has several access points around Granville:

  • Wildwood Park on the west
  • A parking lot at the OH-661 crossing in the middle
  • Raccoon Valley Park on the east

The two parks have portable restrooms.

The path mostly follows an old railroad grade but runs through a mix of habitats that can produce a good list of birds.
