Granville, Ohio 43023
T. J. Evans Bike Path Official WebsiteThe trail here passes through a deep forest squeezed between a hillside and Raccoon Creek. There are a few angler's paths, especially where the trail bridges the creek at the west end, before the freeway underpass.
The strategy is to walk or bike along the path, listening for singing birds in spring/summer or looking for flocks in fall/sinter. The site has breeding birds typical of mature woodland, with lots of Acadian Flycatchers and Red-eyed Vireos. It also has some unusual riparian forest birds, including Louisiana Waterthrush, Northern Parula, and American Redstart.
