Deering Reservoir covers an area of 323 acres and has a maximum depth of 37 feet. The reservoir is the source of the Piscataquog River, which flows eastward to join the Merrimack River in Manchester. The reservoir also has a beach and picnic area that is open for visitors from May to September.
