Gore Place is a historic country house, now a museum. It is owned and operated by the nonprofit Gore Place Society. The estate covers 50 acres of green space and includes a working farm with rare sheep. Visitors can explore the grounds from dawn to dusk for free, or join guided tours of the mansion and the farm. Gore Place also hosts various events throughout the year, such as concerts, festivals, and tea parties. Gore Place was built in 1806 by Christopher and Rebecca Gore, who were prominent members of Boston society and had interests in architecture, horticulture, and technology.
