At the corner where Watkins street makes a sharp right turn going west parallel to the river there is a trail heading east along the river towards the bike trail bridge. Birders can park at the dead end turnaround at the end of the street. This site seems like a good migrant trap close to downtown Nelsonville.

Watkins Street is the entrance to the sports fields at Polley Field. The street continues along the edge of the fields to a dead end near the Hocking river.
