Presenting a nice strip of habitat in an otherwise barren landscape, this is a good place to look for stragglers from New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah, including Black-billed Magpie (somewhat expected) and Black-capped Chickadee (not to be expected). Also, look for vagrants in spring and fall.
