There is access to Shadow Lake at the state boat launch located on Shadow Lake Road at the north end of the lake.

Shadow Lake (128 acres) is a site for the Vermont LoonWatch annual survey. Birders are encouraged to volunteer as often and whenever they are able. See Join LoonWatch for details.
