Green Mountain National Forest Mount Tabor, Vermont 05739
Big Mud Pond is a small lake located near the town of Mount Tabor. It covers an area of about 15 acres and has a maximum depth of 18 feet. The lake is spring-fed and surrounded by forested hills. Big Mud Pond is a popular spot for fishing, birding, and hiking. It is part of the Green Mountain National Forest and has a campground nearby.
