Tips for Birding

These woods are a good place to look for raptors such as Great Horned and Barred Owls.  In spring, look for a variety of spring warblers including the Worm-eating Warbler.  The fields of Pardon Gray offer some of the best chances to view Eastern Meadowlarks during spring and summer.
