Southwest corner of Woodbury Co. From I-29 take Sloan exit #135 and go west 2.5 miles. At Calhoun Ave. turn right (north) and proceed 2.5 miles. The lake straddles Calhoun. Also at the intersection of Calhoun Ave and 310th there are wetlands to the SW and NE. Proceed east on 310th and the lake will be visible to the north.
Lake and wetland. Agricultural land is encroaching each year. Shorebirds, ducks, peiclans, grebes, rails, waders, wrens. The lands are private but good viewing is had from the roads. Landowner(s) have been cooperative and helpful
