The agricultural fields in Lucas County are often resting and feeding places for ducks and shorebirds during wet weather.

Corduroy Road is one of the busier east-west roads in this area. When you find birds in the fields, it is often safer to view them from a side road rather than stopping on Corduroy Road itself. If you do stop, please use care and pull off the pavement.
