Nabnasset Lake, 142 acres, is located about two and a half miles north of Westford Center. There is a large marsh surrounding the western inlet; other than that area, the shoreline is heavily developed with year-round homes and summer cottages.
Edwards Beach at Nabnasset Lake is located at the end of Williams Avenue off Plain Road. Besides the beach, there are picnic areas, picnic tables, a playground, sand volleyball, a seasonal concession stand, and a sizeable swimming area.
Public access is very limited at this pond, both for boaters and from shore. Unless a birder is lucky enough to know a landowner who lives on the pond, the only access is the town beach at the pond’s southeastern tip. Canoes and car-top boats can be launched here at the far left side of the parking lot when the gate is open.
