In southern Winnebago Co., the park is at the end of 345th, five miles west of Forest City (starting with I Ave. in Forest City). It has four small, prairie pothole lakes, some marsh habitat, grasslands, and woodland edge with picnicking, camping facilities, fishing and hunting. It is the County Conservation Board Headquarters.
