Gaining Ground is a nonprofit organization that grows organic produce for hunger relief in Concord. Founded in 1994, Gaining Ground operates on a 3-acre farm that is owned by the town and leased to the organization for a nominal fee. Gaining Ground relies on volunteers to plant, tend, and harvest the crops, which are then donated to local food pantries, meal programs, and shelters.
