723 acre county park wooded park and trails. Also a 55 acre lake. Located in TAMA county but managed by Black Hawk County. From intersection of Hwy 8 and Hwy 21 at Dysart. Go approximately 6 miles NORTH on Hwy 21 to park entrance. The lake, woods, evergreens make this a nice area for birding year round. Can be good for owls in the winter This is a public hunting area.
