A good spot to check in wet years, primarily spring/fall.  

Waterbirds depending on water levels.  Mainly a shorebird spot but can be excellent for Sora and puddle ducks.  Occasionally Great-tailed Grackle, Yellow-headed Blackbird, Sedge Wren.

Northwest of Slater.  Private property easily viewed from the road.  Wetlands are on the west side of the intersection.
