The gravel pit on Greer Avenue is privately owned. Please view birds from the roadside only using the small pull off near the old baseball field on the east side of Greer Avenue.

The gravel pit is private and clearly marked as such. A scope is extremely helpful in viewing birds here. This pit will potentially host good numbers of gulls through the winter months as it is a short flight from American Landfill to the north. Black-backed and White-winged Gulls will be very possible. Best times of day will likely be early morning and late afternoon as the gulls depart and return to roost.
