About this Location

Important Bird Area.
1,669 acre County Park with woods, pasture and a large lake with some marsh habitat. There are shelters, grills, bathrooms, boat ramps, a swimming beach, hiking and equestrian trails.

This park is located 2 miles North and 2 miles East of Sigourney. The main entrance to the Park is on 242nd Ave and there are clear signs directing you on Hwy 149 as well as on Hwy 92.

This is a lovely spot to explore. It has pasture/prairie, woods, a 264 acre fishing lake and 35 acres of marsh habitat. There are also 8 miles of hiking and equestrian trails. This is a public hunting area.
