Tips for Birding
This is one of the top spots in Eastern Iowa to see Short-eared Owls in the Winter. Go to the far Western edge of the airport to Cherry Valley Rd SW late in the afternoon or early evening. Park along the road where you can see across the fields to the West and some airport structures to the East inside the airport fence.
