About this Location

Upper Vine Brook Conservation Area, 51 acres, has 0.3 miles of trails and connects to Dunback Meadow conservation area. Most of Upper Vine Brook- Cotton Farm is wetland, but the eastern edge of the area is accessible by trail. A 4.2-acre parcel on this eastern edge was acquired through the Community Preservation Act in 2011, allowing for the trail from Highland Avenue to connect to Marrett Road. The southern section of this trail follows a driveway to Marrett Road. Across Marrett Road, a trail to Dunback Meadow picks up off of Bacon Street.

Access is from the end of Highland Avenue and Marrett Road on a driveway just across from Bacon Street.
