About this Location

The Gwynne Conservation Area is a 65-acre demonstration and education area for agriculture and natural resources management practices. The Gwynne is located in Madison County at the Ohio State University’s Molly Caren Agricultural Center in London Ohio. A committee of resource professionals from Ohio’s natural resource agencies oversees educational programming and policy at the Conservation Area.

The Gwynne Conservation Area is open during daylight hours for non-consumptive uses such as hiking, dog walking, photography, and wildlife observation. Exceptions will be posted. Visitors are welcome to explore the grounds, enjoy the outdoors, and observe the various conservation practices installed throughout the area. Hunting and fishing are not permitted.

To visit the Gwynne Conservation Area at times other than Farm Science Review show dates in September:
Use the US-42 exit (#79) from I-70. On US 42, go south toward London, Ohio. Go west (toward Springfield, Ohio) on US-40. Proceed to the first traffic light and turn right onto OH-38 north. Cross over the freeway and turn left at the first road (Arbuckle Road). Proceed about 800 feet to the entrance to the Conservation Area parking lot on the right.
