This road is good for ducks when the fields are flooded. Drive as far down the road as you can and scan the flooded fields. Black Scoters were found here just a few years ago.

Do not drive into the water on any flooded road in the area. The back roads in this area are dirt and gravel. They can be quite soft and muddy when drying out after being flooded.

Schwartzwalder Road parallels Wilderness Road in Wayne County and can be productive when the farm fields are flooded near Funk Bottoms Wildlife Area. The road traverses private farm fields. Please view birds from the road only.
