Exeter Reservoir covers an area of 20 acres and has a maximum depth of 12 feet. There is a public access point on the north shore of the lake, where anglers can fish from the bank or launch small boats. 

There is a small parking area on Water Works Pond Road adjacent to Exeter Reservoir.
