Mount Hope Cemetery was established in 1848 and is the third of three municipal cemeteries in the town. It covers more than 10 acres and has over 3,000 memorials. The cemetery is located on Central Street, south of West Acton Village. It is a well-preserved and well-maintained example of a Victorian burial ground, with many ornate monuments and mature trees.

The entrance to Mount Hope Cemetery is on Central Street near the intersection with Windsor Avenue.
