Ocean Boulevard (NH-1A) crosses Parsons Creek.

The historic Massacre Marsh, which lies on Wallis Road, across Route 1A from Wallis Sands Beach State Park, was purchased by the Town of Rye to protect coastal habitat, provide public walking trails, and protect one of the last and largest properties left on the estuary.
