A rocky, forested state park fronting the west side of West Okoboji Lake.
Take Iowa Highway 86 west, then north about 4.5 mi. from Milford, OR take 86 about 4 mi. south from junction with Iowa Highway 9 on the NW side of West Okoboji Lake. Follow park entrance signs from Highway 86.

Mostly forest, fronting a rocky shoreline of West Okoboji Lake. Also has small areas of grasslands, a small restored wetlands and an old boat canal passing through part of the park's west side. Best for finding forest birds, especially during seasonal migrations, plus gulls and waterfowl viewable on the lake from the park shoreline.
