Important Bird Area.
Marble lake is a shallow, marshy lake on the east side of the Kettleson Hogsback Wildlife Complex. (See Kettleson Hogsbscak description on this website for more details).

Follow Co. Hwy. M-49 around the west side of Big Spirit Lake. After passing north end of Marble Beach State Park on right side of highway, look for Marble Lake entrance sign and access road on west side of M-49. Follow access road in to parking area and boat launch.

A marshy lake with a variety of wetland vegetation and mostly surrounded by woodlands. Lake is excellent habitat for all kinds of nesting and migrating waterfowl and other waterbirds, including summering pelicans.
