Heron Point has a short trail offering great views of the former Newmarket Mills, Newmarket Harbor, and the Lamprey River as it heads out to Great Bay. The site underwent some needed improvements in the summer of 2022: trail improvements, trail markers, new kiosk signage, and the removal of two hazardous trees.
