About this Location

Pekin Road Marsh is privately owned. Please view birds from the roadside only.

A reminder that this is private property.
The local landowner and resident has shared concerns about recent activity around the marsh due to the increasing popularity of the Mute Swan cygnets.

Property owners have graciously allowed birders to view the wildlife in the marsh. There is a safe pull-off area off the berm of the eastbound lane close to Auburn Road. Please obey traffic laws. Do not pull off the road facing traffic. Also, it is not recommended to pull off any side of Auburn Road near the marsh. This is an unsafe area to do so. There is limited visibility for you and oncoming traffic on Auburn.

Continued poor behavior could result in removing this hotspot from eBird.

Be courteous to landowners and neighbors. Use the berm, enjoy the marsh, and share with others by using the limited parking space for short periods at a time. Thank you for your cooperation!
