Recreation Area Trails cut through woodlands, open meadows, and pine groves. Sections of the Orange trail follow along the Sugar Hollow Brook. Also home to the Pittsford Disc Golf Course.

The Pittsford Trails are open to the public free of charge and provide recreational experiences for residents and visitors through all seasons of the year. Enjoy walking, bird watching, jogging, snow-shoeing, hiking, and cross-country skiing. Trails are marked and traverse open fields, meander along rivers and waterfalls, and course through woodlands. This trail network has been developed and maintained by volunteers with the support of the Town, private landowners, and grant funding from the State of Vermont.

Primary trailheads are accessible off of Furnace Road through the main gate of the Recreation Area, behind the Pittsford Congregational Church on the Town Green, and behind the Municipal Offices on Plains Road.

Walking is easy to moderate with short sections that are moderately steep on the Blue and Orange trails.
