This former state park, now managed by the Hamilton County Conservation Board, is a wonderfully wooded area situated along the Boone River just south of Webster City. It also has a sizeable lake, many camping sites, and a few cabins. Canoe access is available for a float trip down the river. Woodland and riparian species should be expected.
