Duke Prairie is a 20-acre tract of black-soil prairie which was plowed once in 1898. A crop of wheat was grown that year and then it was returned to pasture ground the following year.

South of Grand Mound on 230th Ave., west on 270th St., south on 215th Ave. Located on the west side of the corner of 215th Ave. and 275th St.
