Chrisholm MetroPark

About this Location

Chrisholm MetroPark is nestled along the north shore of the Great Miami Riverway in Madison Township. The 135-acre park celebrates elements of the county’s agricultural heritage, as well as, the natural areas along the river that facilitate healthy habitats for wildlife.

There are 2 sections of this park:
Woodsdale Regional Park, 119 acres along the Great Miami River that includes scenic natural areas, hiking trails, picnic tables, and approximately a mile of Elk Creek within its boundaries.

Chrisholm Historic Farmstead, a 17-acre historic property donated to the park district by Cincinnati Gas and Electric and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Farmstead area is an educational animal farm and has no designated trail system at its address.  It is used for special events and programs and is not open to the public.
