The one-half mile Trowbridge Crossing Trail extends from the Essex Elementary School to the Trowbridge Crossing neighborhood. The trail is slightly sloped, runs parallel to a wetland and two open meadows, and includes a rustic bridge crossing. It is home to many animals including birds, geese, foxes, beaver, and the occasional moose.
