Wetlands and vegetation are can be accessed via the Marion High School's east entrance by turning onto Linda Mel Drive off of Harding Highway East. You will be able to see the wooded area from the parking lot and this is where the trail begins. The trail runs throughout the woods and is well maintained with many small old oaks in the woods.  

Once you come around the wooded area there is a small unrailed bridge that crosses Graves Creek to give you access to the wetlands. There is one other bridge to the south that gives you access as well but it is a longer walk to the wetland.
