Northeast Metro Tech Forest is a 200-acre woodland area located in Wakefield. It is owned and managed by the Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School District, which operates a high school and an adult education center on the same site. The forest is used for educational and recreational purposes, such as environmental studies, forestry, wildlife management, hiking, and camping. The forest features a pond, a stream, a wetland, and several trails.
