Official WebsiteSugarloaf Park is a small park on the edge of downtown Granville. It is essentially one tall hill with trails winding up, around, and throughout. There are benches along the trails and at the top of the hill where there are also picnic tables and a large rock and sign commemorating the founding of Granville in 1805. There is no need for a scope due to the small size of the park, but it’s a good area for woodland birds including woodpeckers, wrens, migrating warblers, hawks, and more. Parking is at the base of the park right on West Broadway.
